Nostalgic Waves in Ancestors’ Memory

Sharjah Maritime Museum is hosting a dialogue session under the title “Nostalgic Waves in Ancestors’ Memory” at the Museum’s hall. The session will cover the following themes: Creeks in UAE, the appearance of  the Suhail star (Canopus), its impact on the sea and how it is celebrated among fishermen as they prepare for the new season.  The session also sheds light on the important natural phenomena that affect the climate, fishing seasons and tidal conditions, in addition to the calculations of almanacs and stars.
